AboutSketchy
Sketchy is an education platform focused on helping medical students retain complex information through visual learning and memory techniques. As they expanded their product line, they needed stronger alignment across marketing channels to support multiple launches and sustained growth. The challenge wasn’t demand—it was how to structure and scale their marketing efforts effectively. With more products and campaigns in motion, clarity and coordination became critical.
The initial step was understanding how their marketing efforts were currently operating across channels. This included analyzing email performance, content cadence, launch strategies, and how different campaigns were being executed. It became clear that while there was strong effort across the board, there wasn’t a unified system guiding decision-making. This lack of alignment created inefficiencies and limited how much results could compound over time.
I stepped in to help shape the overall marketing strategy, aligning product launches with a clear content and email framework. This included building out structured campaign cadences, refining messaging across channels, and ensuring consistency between organic and paid efforts. Beyond execution, I introduced systems and frameworks the team could rely on to make better decisions moving forward. The focus was on creating a marketing engine that could support both launches and long-term growth.
With a more aligned approach, Sketchy saw a 2.6x increase in sales during this period. Launches became more coordinated, and performance improved across email, content, and social. The team had clearer visibility into what was working and where to focus. Marketing efforts began to build on each other instead of starting from scratch each time.
This was about creating clarity, not adding complexity. By aligning strategy with execution, Sketchy was able to scale without losing direction. The systems put in place allowed the team to operate more efficiently over time. When marketing is structured well, growth becomes more consistent and repeatable.
