How we work together
We begin by reviewing your marketing and agreeing on what needs attention. I develop the plan with you, then stay involved through weekly working sessions as your team carries it out.
You work directly with me throughout the engagement.
You have customers and people handling marketing.
Your team might include employees, freelancers, agencies, or a combination. They can deliver the work, but you need experienced help assessing performance and deciding where to focus.
I provide the strategy and ongoing advice. Your team remains responsible for implementation.

From assessment to action
(7 days)
We start with your business goals, current results, and the questions you need answered.
I review the relevant performance data, messaging, channels, and customer journey, alongside how your team operates. We establish what the evidence supports and where we need to investigate further.
You receive: This is the Marketing Assessment: $3,000, delivered within 7 days of payment. See everything it includes
I develop recommendations around the priorities we’ve identified. We work through the tradeoffs: where to invest, what to change, and what to put on hold.
We also establish who will implement each priority and how we’ll assess progress.
You receive: A marketing plan with agreed priorities, responsibilities, and measures.
We meet weekly while your team implements the plan. Sessions focus on decisions and work underway: reviewing campaign performance, assessing an agency recommendation, preparing a launch, or evaluating messaging and creative.
Between sessions, I review the materials included in our agreed scope. As we learn more, we update the recommendations.
You receive: Ongoing advice informed by the work and its results.
The First 90 Days
The first week is the Marketing Assessment. From there, we turn it into a plan and start reviewing changes as your team implements them.We use the opening phase to assess your marketing, establish a plan, and begin reviewing changes as your team implements them.
The pace depends on what we find and your team’s capacity. Where the evidence supports an immediate change, we can act while the broader assessment continues.
At Day 90, we review what has been implemented, what the results suggest, and what needs attention next.
Every engagement starts with a 7-day Marketing Assessment ($3,000). Ongoing advising starts at $3,500 per month. If you continue within 30 days, the assessment is credited toward your first month.
Before starting, we agree on the scope, engagement term, weekly session format, and support included between meetings.
What changes
You’ll have a documented set of priorities, an agreed way to assess performance, and a regular forum for making marketing decisions.Your team will understand what they’re working toward and who is responsible. And you'll have someone who knows your business to check the next big idea before you spend on it.
Commercial results depend on the starting point and implementation. We’ll distinguish early evidence from outcomes that need longer to assess.
A few practical questions
- Do I have to start with the assessment?
Yes. I won't advise on marketing I haven't examined, so every engagement starts with the 7-day Marketing Assessment. - Who implements the plan?
Your internal team, freelancers, or agency partners carry out the work. I develop the strategy with you, explain the priorities, and review progress. - Can you work with my existing agency?
Yes. I can help you assess recommendations, clarify briefs, and review how the agency’s work supports your business goals. - Who attends the weekly sessions?
You and the people relevant to the decisions we’re making. We agree on regular participants at the start and involve others when needed. - What happens in the weekly sessions?
We work through the decisions and activity that need attention. Depending on the week, that could involve reviewing performance, discussing a launch, evaluating creative, or adjusting priorities. - What do you need from us?
Access to relevant marketing information, someone who can make business decisions, and people with the capacity to implement the agreed work. - Will I work directly with you?
Yes. I’m the person reviewing your marketing, developing recommendations, and meeting with you and your team. - How is the free second opinion different from a paid engagement?
The second opinion is a short recorded review of one thing you send me: a plan, an agency proposal, or recent results. The Marketing Assessment covers your whole marketing in 7 days and ends with a written plan. Ongoing advising adds weekly sessions while your team implements it.
